Karl Raschke + Kristine Heykants

Karl Raschke received an MFA from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Recent work includes 1984 Dodge Ram Roadtrek II - $4500, a collaboration between Raschke and writer Dylan Hicks that appeared in the December 2007 issue of Rake Magazine. He is a co-curator for Creative Electric Studios, an art space in Northeast Minneapolis. "The Baron", a play Raschke co-wrote with Cory Mcleod and his professional wrestler father (Jim Raschke aka Baron von Raschke ), was featured on the cover of the New York Times' Arts section and called one of the best local theatre productions in 2007 by City Pages.

Kristine Heykants is a photographer whose work exists at the intersection of printed media and fine art. Specializing in portraiture, her commissioned work has appeared in Mpls / St Paul, People, and Fitness. A recent recipient of awards from the McKnight and Jerome Foundations, her personal work has led her to Italy to explore and photograph sources of Western popular culture. Heykants is also an adjunct instructor in photography at Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
