Hilary Bullock + Peter Latner

Minnesota's pioneer in wedding photojournalism, Hilary Bullock, has specialized in weddings since 1988, shortly after graduating with honors and a BFA in Media Arts from The Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is known for her sophisticated images filled with energy and life, and her ability to make people feel at ease. Recognition in the field of photography includes; "Best Wedding Photographer", City Pages (1997, 1999), "Best Wedding Photographer/Photojournalism", MN Bride (2003), "Lifetime Achievement Award", MN Bride (2003), and "Top Knots", Photo District News (2006).

Peter Latner has been a photographer and teacher for more than 25 years. His teaching experience includes classes at Film In the Cities, Colorado College, Minneapolis College of Art & Design and Dakota County Technical College, where he currently teaches black & white and studio courses. Latner spent 19 years as a museum photographer for Walker Art Center and the Minnesota Historical Society (MHS), and is the recipient of grants, fellowships and project commissions from MHS, the McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board. His work has been exhibited regionally and nationally, and his photographs are in numerous corporate and museum collections. Latner received the 2007/2008 MCP/McKnight Artist Fellowships for Photographers award and will be exhibiting his work at MCP in early 2009.
