Description
This workshop is for people who want to discover the ins and outs of their digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera- whether you have no idea what this thing can do or you want to understand the array of options your camera holds beyond the basics. Learn about your camera's controls, fundamentals of exposure, composition, lens options, and helpful hints to making better pictures. Participants will have time to try out the topics covered in the workshop and receive one-on-one assistance from the instructor.
Requirements
Students should bring their digital SLR to the workshop, along with the manual and fresh batteries. If you are considering purchasing an SLR, this workshop can give you valuable information before you make a decision. No previous camera knowledge is required.
Bio
Paul Wegner has been teaching photography since receiving his M.F.A. in Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1998. Currently, Paul is teaching courses in film and digital photography in the Art Department at Inver Hills Community College. Wegner's personal work is focused on the portrait image and its ability to render aspects of individual identity, illustrate relationships among individuals, and reference iconographic symbols.
