At the Nash: WorkBook and Idea Factory
June 17, 2008 to July 11, 2008
The Katherine E. Nash Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition titled WorkBook and a companion exhibition titled Idea Factory. The Department of Art at the University of Minnesota, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the Department of Art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, worked together to create these exhibitions. WorkBook will feature sketchbooks, notebooks, and process books by faculty and other guest artists. Idea Factory exhibits student work illustrating the importance of sketchbooks in studio-based disciplines.
A public reception is scheduled for Friday, June 20 from 6-8:30 pm. All events at the Nash are free and open to the general public.
The Regis Center for Art is located at 405 21st Avenue South on the west bank campus of the University of Minnesota. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm. Parking is available in the 21st Avenue Ramp.

Announcing the Second Biennial Minnesota Center for the Book Arts Jerome Foundation Book Arts Mentorships. The Book Arts Mentorship is an artist-development program aimed at introducing book arts to emerging artists whose primary medium is in another discipline.
